Practice Round (June 5th - 6th)
Players will play practice rounds at the golf course. Practice round tee times for each team are posted - http://www.ijgc.com/WYTC2008_files/wytc2008_PracticeRound.html. Team practice round tee times are reserved in advance by team captain as a team. Please contact your team captain for more detail.
TaylorMade Tour Experience (June 5th - 6th)
TaylorMade will be at the WYTC practice areas to provide the players an opportunity to try and learn more about the very latest TaylorMade equipment. At TaylorMade, we believe it isn't just our Tour Staff professionals that deserve a first-class custom build service, but all players. Now you can receive the same attention as our Tour pros with the opportunity to have your swing analyzed on our state-of-the-art MATT-i Launch Monitor System. Fitted with the latest Matt-i launch system, our Tour Techs will monitor and analyze your swing to fit you into clubs that promote the highest degree of distance and accuracy.
Players Registration (June 6th)
Players are required to register and check-in individually at the WYTC Tent on Friday 6th during 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Tournament tee gifts and other tournament documents will be given during that time. If you can't make to the registration on Friday 6th during that time, please contact your team captain about your arrival and later check-in on late Friday.
Opening Ceremony & Team Breakfast Party (June 7th)
Each team players and team captains will attend the traditional breakfast buffet at the Reagan Grand Ballroom (The Taylor Room). It will begin at 7:30 - 8:30 am.The World Youth Team Challenge Opening Ceremony will begin at 8:30 am. Each nation's national anthems is played.Welcome speech by Bolingbrook Mayor Roger C. Claar. Team captain of each team gives speech and introduces team players on stage.
Team Pictures (June 7th)
There will be a formal team picture for each team as well as a panorama picture with all 8 team players at the driving range area at 9:45 am.
First Round Day 1 (June 7th)
Each team in pool A and pool B will play round robin on the first round Day 1 to Day 3. First tee time starts at 11:00 am for both front 9 and back 9. Please check the tee times and parings on the later page.
First Round Day 2 (June 8th)
Each team in pool A and pool B will play round robin on the first round Day 1 to Day 3. First tee time starts at 11:00 am for both front 9 and back 9. Please check the tee times and parings on the later page.
First Round Day 3 (June 9th)
Each team in pool A and pool B will play round robin on the first round Day 1 to Day 3. First tee time starts at 7:00 am for both front 9 and back 9. Please check the tee times and parings on the later page.
Championship Round Day 4 (June 10th)
A 1st seat team from pool A and pool B will play for the champion and runner up place. A 2nd seat team from pool A and pool B will play for the 3rd ad 4th place. A 3rd seat team from pool A and pool B will play for the 5th and 6th place. A 4th seat team from pool A and pool B will play for the 7th and 8th place. First tee time starts at 7:00 am for both front 9 and back 9. Please check the tee times and parings on the later page.
Closing Ceremony (June 10th)
Trophy and Medals will be awarded immediately following the end of the last match.
